The only way to know what the radon levels are inside your home or other location is to measure them. This simple test kit can reveal the amount of radon gas in your home, office or any building and is used for the initial screening for radon gas. This test kit can also be used to assess the performance of a Radon Mitigation system.

Radon exposure is highly dangerous to your health and is the cause of over 20,000 lung cancer deaths every year. Nearly 1 out of every 15 homes in the United States is estimated to have elevated radon levels.

You may not recognize any symptoms but persistent lung issues resulting from radon exposure could include:

• Persistent cough
• Wheezing
• Heavy breathing
• Lung infections

Radon Screen Check Directions:

This test will be sent with a collection instructions to gather your sample. The test device must remain undisturbed for 48 to 96 hours under closed house conditions.

Everything you need to collect and send your sample for analysis is included in the test kit you will receive.

You may want to address the Radon issues in your home or office if your radon level is 4 picocuries per liter, or pCi/L, or higher. Radon levels less than 4 pCi/L can still pose a risk, and in many cases may be reduced with mitigation. Radon levels vary daily and from season to season. As a result, you may want to follow up the radon screening test with a second test.
